Vaisala News 164/2004

Vaisala News issue 164, dedicated to weather observation products and systems, was published in January 2004. In addition to several customer case studies, the magazine contains a report on the validation trial of the Loran-C and GPS windfinding models of the RS92. Additionally, the new Vaisala Software Radio and the Vaisala Thunderstorm Information System are introduced. Other new products include the Vaisala Automatic Weather Station MAWS301, enhanced for hydrological measurements, and the new present weather detectors and visibility meters.
