Vaisala News issue 165 was published in May 2004.
The magazine contains a report on the 2002-2003 National Lightning Detection Network upgrade in the USA. We also report on the operational trial of the Vaisala Radiosonde RS92 in Italy, and the new Vaisala clean room. In this issue you can also read about the views of Mr. Michel Jarraud, the new Secretary-General of WMO, on weather and climate change. Mr. Jarraud visited Finland and Vaisala in April.
