Vaisala Pyranometers CMP6 and CMP11

The CMP6 is a first class pyranometer and the CMP11 is a secondary standard pyranometer as defined by World Meteorological Organization (WMO). The CMP6 and CMP11 are both suitable for the measurement of solar irradiance on a plane surface (W/m2).

The CMP6 incorporates a 64-thermocouple sensor, which is rotationally symmetrical, housed under K5 domes. The CMP11 incorporates a 100-thermocouple sensor, imprinted on a thick-film substrate, housed under K5 glass domes. The sensor is rotation-ally symmetrical.

With both pyranometers, a white screen prevents the body from heating up. Both pyranometers are supplied with a spirit level and screws for accurate levelling. A drying cartridge keeps the interior free from humidity. Additionally, the pyranometers are supplied with a calibration certificate.
